The event was created to pay tribute and express our community's appreciation and admiration for a person who has been a respected leader in the Jewish community and an extraordinary role model.
The "Allan Weissglass Distinguished Leadership Award" is given to individuals who have shown dedication to improving the JCC by a lifelong commitment to enriching and strengthening Jewish life and identity, serving as an agent for social change and human betterment, and demonstrating social vision and leadership in the Jewish community.
